Woodsman Package (Baker tent)

If you are looking for a more back to basics experience - falling asleep in front of a crackling fire and being able to see the stars from your campbed then the baker tent is for you.

This canvas handmade traditional design was first used by the voyagers in Canada while they travelled by canoe, up and down the great rivers. Its main feature is a wide open front opening with a overhead canopy, enabling you to enjoy your surroundings to the full. A fire is lit near the entrance which keeps you snug and warm all through the night. You can fall asleep with the door open looking up at the stars. Upon arrival we will show you how the tent can be used and modified and give you instructions regarding the fire and how to keep cosy during the night.

What's included:

ü One double mattress plus sheet

ü Coolbox, we will regularly keep you supplied with cooling packs throughout your stay

ü A couple of battery LED lanterns

ü A fire pit, includes a basket of seasoned wood

ü Deck chairs with blankets for relaxing by the fire

ü Charcoal BBQ , with charcoal, for cooking (A Gas Camping stove can also be provided)

ü A couple of crates filled with cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils

ü Picnic table and chairs for dining

ü Help yourself to our chickens free range eggs (dependent upon their laying habits!)

ü Help yourself to our veg patch and herb garden (depending on what's in season!)

Please bring your own sleeping bags! There are very spacious shower and toilet facilities at the side of the glamping site just a short walk from your tent.

A delicious breakfast hamper with locally produced organic products can be added to the booking. A hamper includes, bacon, sausages, half a dozen eggs, a loaf of bread, jam,two pints of milk, a bottle of apple juice, coffee and tea.
