PLUCKLEY | KENT
The Way We Roll
Welcome to Gooseberry Field, a spacious 5-acre site with 7 stylish bell tents, a vintage Airstream trailer, two wood-fired hot tubs, campfires and a pizza oven all nestled in the picturesque village of Pluckley in the Kent countryside. Owned by Kerstin and John who dreamed of escaping hectic city living in favour of a simpler, more relaxed way of life with home grown vegetables, eggs from their own chickens, and open fires under a starry sky night. In 2013 they finally took the plunge with their young son Jenson and Gooseberry Field was born.

There’s glamping and Glamping. At Gooseberry Field we’d like to think that you are truly being looked after. From carefully designed interiors, fluffy duvets with 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen and all the crockery and cooking equipment you will need, to a sturdy bbq/firepit with a complimentary basket of logs, for that most important campfire and perhaps a campfire feast.
All you need to do, is hop in your car or take the train with a bundle of clothes, toiletries and perhaps some food, (or treat yourself to a breakfast hamper with local produce) and the rest is pretty much taken care of.
Gooseberry Field is not only a glamping site, it’s a working small holding as well. Exploring the 5-acre field, you will find piglets, chickens, a poly-tunnel surrounded by a vegetable garden and raised beds, a vineyard and lots and lots of fruit trees and fruit bushes dotted around the site.
It’s an ideal place to see and show how food grows. Often collecting the chicken’s eggs and feeding the pigs is the highlight of the day for our smaller guests.
There’s plenty of space to roam around, play games or just relax in a deckchair and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine and a good book.
So why not get away from it all; unplug, relax and reconnect with friends, family and even yourself? Join us for a few days of luxury camping at Gooseberry Field Glamping in Kent.

Announcement
It seems a lifetime away that we left City life for a new adventure in the countryside and set up our own little slice of heaven in the Garden of England.
Every year there have been little tweaks, add ons and improvements. Recently we have been granted permission to build a new facilities barn for Gooseberry Field which we are massively excited about. This new building will allow us to improve all aspects of the Gooseberry Field experience. New toilets, showers and washing up basins, a reception area and better facilities for our small holding produce will all be included. However with timings it’s going to be challenging to get the building works finished by next season so the difficult decision has been taken to do a ‘Glastonbury’ or in other words, close for a season and come back even more fabulous in 2023.
We want thank every single client from the last seven seasons for staying here and we are very sorry to disappoint if you were intending to stay next summer but we promise we will be back with a bang in 2023!
Keep an eye on our Instagram feed to follow developments and improvements and to keep an eye out for @gooseberryfield_supperclub dates for 2022.
